Sumatran-Orangutan
One day I plan on seeing them in their natural habitat. These beautiful creatures could be gone in as little as 20 years. So sad.
For the Bornean orangutans at least, know that my state is quite protective of our regional icon and ecotourism asset. There are people here working hard to keep them thriving in the wild, and coming over to see them is supportive to the cause.

An Orangutan escaped its enclosure in Adelaide today by short-circuiting the electric fence and then building a ramp to scale the wall.
If the big cats work this out, we’re fucked.
